Online Resources for Inclusive Teaching and Learning

Online Resources for Inclusive Teaching and Learning (under construction)

(Erasmus+ BELONG project outcome)

This online repository has been designed and developed as part of the Erasmus+ Better Education through Long-term Investment into Inclusiveness and Student and Staff Wellbeing (BELONG) project and aims to offer a collection of useful resources for those who wish to make their university courses and their teaching and learning more inclusive.

This collection of resources is specifically linked to Outcome 11 of the BELONG  Project:

  •  Design an open access portal on inclusive learning and teaching

Background and context

During the first year of implementing the BELONG project, we have designed and offered a course for faculty members that aimed to help them become inclusive when preparing, facilitating and evaluating undergraduate and graduate courses and course sessions. While attending the course, participants also had an opportunity to increase their own awareness of mental health, wellbeing and sense of belonging.

The first part of the course took place at a summer school in Funchal, Madeira, between 6 and 12 July 2023. The second part of the course was offered modularly online in the academic year 2023-24.

In June 2024, 16 teachers from Comenius University Bratislava, Masaryk University, Nottingham Trent University, University of Madeira and Central European University graduated from the course.
