Call for Applications: CEU Teaching Development Grants - Deadline May 15, 2026

The Research Support Office is announcing the first round of applications for the CEU Teaching Development Grants (TDG) of the 2026-2027 Academic Year, which is to support individual faculty members at CEU in the development of teaching projects that involve inquiry and experimentation.

The deadline for applications is 15 May 2026. Applications should be submitted to Veronika Csapo (ACRO) at csapov@ceu.edu

Fourth Annual Elkana Symposium: What Does it Mean to Educate for Freedom in an Age of Constraints?

On March 9 and 10, CEU’s Fourth Annual Elkana Symposium brought together educational developers, educational theorists, higher education researchers, and faculty to examine the intersection of teaching in university settings and broader social contexts. The gathering, hosted by the Yehuda Elkana Center for Teaching, Learning, and Higher Education Research, centered on the theme: “Educating for Freedom: Universities in an Age of Constraints.”
