Universities for Healthy City (HealthyU Erasmus+)

The Universities for Healthy City (HealthyU) Erasmus+ project aims to equip professionals from diverse sectors with the skills and knowledge needed to contribute to the creation of healthier cities and regions, especially in contexts with a high risk of non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular illnesses, diabetes, cancers, or chronic respiratory conditions.

To achieve this, the project prepares higher education teachers to become interdisciplinary educators who apply active teaching methods, authentic assessment, and digital technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI). Graduates of our courses are also expected to guide students in using AI ethically and effectively to enhance their learning.

Project partners:

Comenius University in Bratislava (coordinator), Slovak University of Technology in BratislavaKU LeuvenCentral European University (represented by the Yehuda Elkana Center), ZhivaTherapolis, and the City of Bratislava.
