Dorner Named 2015 EDEN Fellow

Helga Dorner, lecturer at the Center for Teaching and Learning, has been named a 2015 EDEN Fellow by the European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN) in recognition of demonstrated excellence in professional practice in the field of flexible and distance learning. Founded in the UK in 1991, EDEN is the largest professional organization in Europe dedicated to the advancement of open, distance, flexible and e-learning. Dorner received the award at the organization’s annual conference in Barcelona on June 9th.

Matei Presents Report on Higher Education Policy to 48 European Ministerial Delegations

CEU Provost and Pro-Rector Liviu Matei assessed the current state of the Bologna Process and its future in a report for the Ministerial Conference of the European Higher Education Area on May 15 in Yerevan, Armenia. Matei, who is also a professor in the Department of Public Policy, presented the findings of his report, which served as a key background document in preparation for the conference.

LSE's Banaji Wins Fourth Annual European Award for Excellence in Teaching

Dr. Shakuntala Banaji, lecturer and programme director of the Master's in Media, Communication and Development in the Department of Media and Communications at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), has been selected as recipient of the fourth annual European Award for Excellence in Teaching in the Social Sciences and Humanities.
