Elkana Center concludes 3-year BELONG project

In June 2025, CEU's Yehuda Elkana Center successfully concluded the three-year Erasmus+  BELONG project. As the full name suggests, Better Education through Long-term Investment into Inclusiveness and Student and Staff Wellbeing was an innovative attempt, in collaboration with other universities, to tackle enduring challenges whose importance have been more widely recognized in the post-COVID environment.

The Yehuda Elkana Center for Teaching and Learning at Central European University (CEU) is accepting applications for a conference “Resilience and Regeneration in Higher education: Past, Present, and Possible Futures” to take place from June 24th to 25th at CEU in Vienna.

Every other year, the Austrian Network of Higher Education Research (Netzwerk Hochschulforschung Österreich) organizes a conference bringing together higher education researchers, practitioners, and members of the Ministry. On May 8 and 9, 2025, CEU will host the fifth, biennial conference on innovation and managing transformation in higher education.

ACRO is announcing the second round of applications for the CEU Teaching Development Grants (TDG) of the 2024-2025 Academic Year, which is to support individual faculty members at CEU in the development of teaching projects that involve inquiry and experimentation.

The deadline for applications is 15 November 2024. Applications should be submitted to Veronika Csapo (ACRO) at csapov@ceu.edu
