Beginning in November 2019 and with the generous support of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the CEU Center for Teaching and Learning will create the CEU Community of Scholar-Teachers (CCST). The CCST is envisaged as a network of faculty and researchers interested in new approaches to inter- and multi-disciplinary teaching and learning in the humanities and social sciences. The network will focus on whether and how certain disciplinary pedagogical strategies contribute to a meaningful student learning experience and whether these strategies can become sustainable practices in inter- and multidisciplinary, internationalized curricula. The CCST will collaborate with external pedagogical experts or scholar-teachers from the humanities and social sciences to exchange ideas about teaching and learning in higher education beyond CEU. The project is led by the CTL interim director, Dr. Helga Dorner, and supported by a team of researchers: Dr. Jelena Belic, Dr. Zsuzsanna Balogh, Dr. Kata Orosz, and Kinga Káplár-Kodácsy.
