As the fall semester begins, we’d like to share some important updates and resources regarding generative AI (GenAI) at CEU.
In May 2025, the Senate approved changes to the Policy on Student Plagiarism to reflect ongoing conversations around student use of GenAI. Faculty and departments can find detailed guidance in the following documents: Policy Summary & FAQs and GenAI Declaration Templates.
Additionally, we're excited to announce the launch of the new CEU AI Resource Center (internal SharePoint access only) which features:
- An updated list of the AI tools supported by CEU’s IT unit and Library
- Policy updates for the 2025/2026 academic year
- Resources related to AI in teaching and research from the Yehuda Elkana Center and Library
A similar student-facing resource center will soon be available on CEU4U.
