I joined Central European University in June 2021. 

My background includes online and hybrid course development, academic technology, and educational project coordination. At the CEU, strive to co-create experiences with students and faculty that encourage active and collaborative learning. also enjoy exploring technologies that encourage exchange of ideas and reflection. 

Prior to coming to the CEU, I supported faculty in the U.S. university and community college system as an instructional designerAdditionally, I have managed educational programs and taught in the U.S.A., France, Poland, and China. From 2017-2019, I worked with Paper Airplanes, a nonprofit organization that matches conflict-affected individuals with personal tutors via video conferencing platforms. I currently sit on their Advisory Board. 

My pedagogical interests include co-designing online and blended courses, facilitating virtual exchange, digital accessibility, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). I am active with several international partnerships, including the European University Association and the Universal Design for Learning Implementation and Research Network Higher Education SIG. I am currently supporting a number of projects that incorporate game-based learning into the humanities and social science classroom.
