I am an Educationalist and Curriculum specialist with a passion for alternative Teaching, Facilitation and Assessment. I believe that learning should be engaging, fun and authentic for the student. I therefore support novice lecturers (PhD-students) and faculty members in exploring exciting and alternative ways to constructively design curricula, facilitate learning amongst their students AND guide them to create alternative ways for students to showcase application and mastery of their newly acquired skills and knowledge.
I further combine my passion for alternative teaching and assessment with the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) and gear my research activities in such a direction. My aim is to involve faculty members in SoTL-activities and collaborate across departments, institutions and continents - disseminating the information via multiple international platforms.
As a skilled workshop facilitator, I design workshops to enhance active participation, foster cooperative learning and capacitate participants with new skills and techniques.
