The Yehuda Elkana Center for Teaching, Learning, and Higher Education Research is pleased to regularly offer courses in the field of higher education. The subjects vary annually, and are generally offered either to CEU graduate students or to external participants from OSUN institutions. Higher Education Policy Design and Implementation (DOPP5298)
For graduate students from Department of Public Policy, Political Science Department and Economics Department, and students completing the Teaching Certificate, Register in SITS

The course provides an introduction to fundamental issues and topics in contemporary higher education policy, with a focus on the design and implementation of higher education policies.
Quality Assurance in Higher Education
In the framework of the OSUN Professional Development Program for University Administrators and Managers
Fall 2023 semester | Tuesdays/ Thursdays in November, 2:30- 4:30 pm | Online
This course aims to offer university administrators solid knowledge on quality assurance standards and best practices, with the goal of helping participants perform better in their jobs and contribute to quality enhancement at their institutions. It focuses in particular on the role non-faculty actors (quality assurance managers, administrators, students, and external stakeholders) play in ensuring the quality of university education.

The course is designed for practitioners interested in gaining a bird’s eye view on how policy is designed and implemented.
