OSUN Developing Teaching Professionals (DTP) Small Grants Symposium

September 19, 2022

The first cohort of grant recipients for OSUN’s Developing Teaching Professionals small grants to promote inclusive education, democratic classrooms, and innovative discipline-specific pedagogies will present their project findings at a virtual symposium this week on September 22. The grant, which was designed to encourage OSUN-wide collaboration on educational topics at both the inter- and intra-institutional level, has sponsored educators working across disciplines at institutions in multiple hemispheres, including the Universidad de los Andes, the American University of Central Asia, Bard College of Education, and the Central European University. This year’s projects are as manifold as their institutional contexts: from curricular and pedagogical reforms to integrating non-canonical sources into pedagogy, as well as post-pandemic considerations for course design.

For those eager to learn more about this initiative, the Yehuda Elkana Center for Teaching, Learning, and Higher Education Research will be publishing several projects’ outcomes for the OSUN and CEU community.
